CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE

Tuesday, December 20, 2016

The perfect way to end your day is by eating cookies. A big ol' chunk of a cookie. Well, to me at least. The other day, I went to M&S in a shopping mall somewhere in Kuala Lumpur and I bought all of their cookies from the white chocolate cookies to the milk chocolate cookies to the double chocolate cookies. And trust me, they were DELISH!

So I thought to myself, I need to try and make some of it because I can't be bother to go all the way to a busy and crowded shopping mall just to buy cookies.

The next thing I know, I was making my 'research' to find the best recipes that I can find on the internet. I used Carina Stewart's recipe from YouTube.

This is so easy to make and it didn't take me a long time to bake.

You will need :

110g of unsalted butter
2/3 cup of brown sugar
1/3 normal white sugar
1 free range egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1  2/3 of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
Chocolate chips of your choice

How To Make :

Preheat the oven to 180c and line your baking tray.

Beat your butter with brown sugar and white sugar with a wooden spoon or a hand mixer.

Crack your egg and add on the vanilla extract. Continue to whisk until it looks smooth.

Add in your all purpose flour and bicarbonate soda until it forms like a dough.

Then, put your chocolate chips of choice and mix it together with your dough.

Take the dough and roll it on your palm. Then, pat the dough gently depending on how big you want your cookies to be.

You can decorate your cookies if you want to.

Leave space between the cookies in tray for it to spread out.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Make sure to let the cookies to cool once you finished baking for at least 10 minutes if you can't wait any longer.
