I used to be a night person. Until I realised how unhealthy it is and how messed up my sleeping schedule is. I remember staying up until 4 am to 5 am doing god knows what and waking up really late in the afternoon. So now, I've changed my bad habits and can officially say that I'm a morning person (i think) haha.

What motivates me? umm idk. Maybe routine videos that YouTube keeps on recommending to me? 

7:15 a.m. - Wake Up

I like to start my day early. Bright and early. However, at the same time, I LOVE to sleep. I used to have a habit of hitting the snooze button for a gazillion times. And ended waking up 40 minutes later. What I do now is keeping my phone at the other side of the room. This gives me that extra push to wake up in the morning.
Pro tip : keep your phone away from you before you go to sleep.

7:30 a.m. - Letting the Sun Rays In

I will pull back the curtains in the living room, letting that sunshine in and just reply to messages that I've missed the night before.

8:00 a.m. - Workout Time 

When it comes to working out, I love to do it from the comfort of my own home rather than going to a gym. It's just you and only you. Nobody is there to judge you. I will do my cardio for 20 to 30 minutes. I will either jog, jump rope or follow a POPSUGAR Fitness YouTube video. Then, I will proceed with my strength training.

9:00 a.m. - Breakfast!

The first thing that I'll consume is tea. Some days I'll have earl grey tea. Some days I'll have green tea. After I drink my tea, I'll start making my main breakfast meal.

10:00 a.m. - Get that fruit into your stomach gurl 

I will always eat my fruits at least half an hour after I've eaten my breakfast. Why you ask? I heard somewhere it's good to eat your fruits half an hour before or after your meal because the nutrient from the fruit will be absorbed in the intestine more efficiently? haha i don't know science. I heard it so I follow it. I could be completely right or I could be COMPLETELY wrong.

10:30 a.m. - Get Cleaning

It's time for me to clean myself, my room and my house.

11:30 a.m. - Start Preparing Lunch (yay more food!)

  6. I am more of a morning person as well. But I love sleep just as much, so sometimes I end up pressing snooze button a few too many times... I need to try putting my phone far, so I wouldn't be able to reach it with my hand. Thanks for the tip!

  7. Great morning routine. For a while I turned into such a night person and now i'm awake by 6 every morning. I love waking up early, makes me feel so much more productive.

  10. Can definitely relate to this! If I had the choice I would stay up late and sleep in late, but because of school and work I have had to turn into a morning person. Love reading about other people's routines and have definitely watched a ton on youtube haha.
